Cancellation Policy

To qualify for a make-up credit, please give at least 6 hours notice. Log in to the Acuity Scheduling to cancel/reschedule.
When you cancel with at least 6 hours notice, you receive a make-up credit which is valid for 30 days after your cancelled lesson. After 30 days, unused make-up credits expire and the tuition is forfeited.
If you give less than 6 hours notice, you do not qualify for a make-up credit and the tuition is forfeited.

If your teacher ever needs to cancel a lesson, they will give you as much notice as possible.
Your teacher will cancel on Acuity Scheduling and you will receive a notification email from Acuity.
You will also receive a personal email and/or text to confirm the cancellation and provide rescheduling instructions.
You will automatically receive a make-up lesson credit that is valid for 30 days after the cancelled lesson. If rescheduling is not possible within 30 days, we are always open to making exceptions and extending this timeline when it's appropriate.

There are 3 ways to use your make-up credit:
You can book a make-up lesson with your teacher via Acuity Scheduling.
You can book a make-up lesson with a substitute teacher via Acuity Scheduling.
In leui of a make-up lesson, you can use your make-up credit to sign up for a group class or group jam session via Acuity Scheduling.

We always make exceptions to our cancellation policy in the case of family emergencies and inclement weather.

Four lessons a month at your designated weekly lesson day/time
Access to Acuity Scheduling for viewing past/upcoming lessons, canceling/rescheduling lessons, booking make-up lessons & group classes, drop-in classes, and jam sessions.

Your monthly tuition payment is due on the 1st of every month of the school year (Sept-May).
Tuition invoices are sent via email and automatically send 10 days prior to the due date.
Payment is made securely online through the invoice. We accept credit cards and ACH bank transfers.
We are sorry for any inconvenience, but we are not accepting paper checks this school year.

Yes! You can set up auto-pay through your invoice.

Tuition rates vary by teacher and lesson duration.

We can not issue refunds for missed or cancelled lessons.
Please see our cancellation policy above for information about make-up credits.
We understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances. We are always open to making exceptions when it’s appropriate. If you are in this position, please contact Jess at info@earthsongmusic.org

We kindly ask that students give at least 2 weeks notice if they need to withdraw from lessons mid-year. We are happy to issue a refund for prepaid tuition if we are given at least 2 weeks notice. We can not issue a refund if we are given less than 2 weeks notice.

If you give us at least 2 weeks notice, we are happy to prorate your tuition invoice in the case of planned vacations.
How we use Acuity Scheduling

We will book your weekly school year lessons in Acuity Scheduling. You will be able to view your past & upcoming appointments in the app. You can also cancel/reschedule, and book various classes like make-up lessons, make-up classes, and drop-in classes.

Every new student/parent/guardian must register for a free client account with Acuity Scheduling.
After scheduling your weekly lesson day/time, Jess will send you instructions for creating your client account.

Once registered, you will be able to use the Acuity Scheduling App to view your past/upcoming lessons, cancel/reschedule lessons, book make-up lessons, make up classes, and drop-in group classes.

Can I withdraw from lessons mid-year?
We totally understand that things change! Students can withdraw from lessons mid-year. Please email Jess at info@earthsongmusic.org to notify us with at least 2 weeks notice. If we are given less than 2 weeks notice, the tuition for any pre-paid lessons is forfeited.
