Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance - West Chester University

Nate has a deep passion for music, rhythm, and the percussive arts. Educated in drum set, orchestral percussion, mallet percussion, and marching percussion, Nate has made it a priority to help spread the joy of percussion to students of all ages and experience levels.

Nate has taught several high school drumlines and front ensembles, has taught private drum set/mallet percussion students through the West Chester Community Music School, and was the Drum Set Educational Chair for Making Space in Music, where he developed a fundamental educational curriculum for drum set.

Nate teaches In-person at the Carriage House.

Nate has performed with a number of notable groups, including: United Percussion, The Philadelphia Chorus, The Bach Choir of Bethlehem, The West Chester University Criterions Jazz Ensemble (the nation's oldest credited university big band), and the nationally acclaimed West Chester University Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band.

Currently, Nate is performing/recording with his two Philadelphia-based bands, Chasing Straights, Birds, & Dear Season, as well as working as Social Media Coordinator for the Pennsylvania Chapter of Percussive Arts Society.
