About Earth Song Student Bands

Since 2019, we’ve been putting together bands with students who have compatible age, musical skill level, and musical interests. Our awesome band director, Mr. Smith, works with all the bands to rehearse on a regular basis, put together great set lists, create musical arrangements that fit the band, prepare for gigs, cultivate a band brand, write original music, record in the studio, and more!

Jess Smith is the band coordinator who coordinates all the rehearsal scheduling and books gigs at local venues & events. She makes rehearsal and gig scheduling super easy and convenient for all the band families!

Bands also get to work with our super talented event photographer, Dylan Eddinger, and sound engineer wizard Zach Washko.

Earth Song bands play lots of gigs including our annual Earth Song Fest at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville! Recent gig venues and events include Stolen Sun Brewing, Rivet Canteen & Assembly, The Gem Spring City Speakeasy, Victory Park Summer Series, Saint Peter’s Village Fall Fest, Phoenixville First Friday, Keystone Riverfront Fest, and OJR Family Farm Fest.

How do I join a band?

We hold in-person open call auditions periodically throughout the year and we accept video auditions anytime. To submit a video audition or be added to our audition sign-up contact list, please submit the audition form below!

Dylan Zangwill

Dylan was a contestant on America’s Got Talent Season 16 and American Idol 2023. Dylan is now crushing it in the local music scene and has recorded two singles with John Carter Cash! Listen to Dylan on all streaming platforms.

Frog Gods

The Frog Gods are one of our OG bands, originally formed in 2019! For years, they’ve been blowing minds at shows playing radio-accurate covers of Radiohead, Muse, Black Sabbath, Rush, Paramore, and so much more. This year, they’ve released two incredible original singles with Donnie Spackman with more music on the way. Listen to the Frog Gods on all streaming platforms!

Camryn Snow

Camryn was the lead singer of the Frog Gods 2019-2023. She just released her first single, Used to Be. Produced by Frog Gods guitarist, Xander Hoishik. Listen to Camryn on all streaming platforms!

uncle is a power house fusion of punk, jam, and rock. They just released their first single, Can of Peas. Listen to uncle on all streaming platforms!
